This is my list of my top
10 most anticipated games of 2015. If you don't like my picks then
too bad, it's my list so it's my choice. Here are my top 10 most
anticipated movies of 2015.
10. Grand Theft Auto V
- PC Edition
One of the biggest games
ever get's a huge face lift and comes to PC. I mean, the game looked
good on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 but what they have showed us of
the PC version looks amazing. What's annoying me is that we have to
wait so long for the game, and I don't feel like playing the story
again. All over a great game, but really late to the PC.
9. Dead Island 2
Set to release in Q2 it is
the sequel too 2011's Dead Island. It's set several months after the
events in Dead Island. I really don't know much more than that. A new
developer is a little scary but Yager Development did make the great
Spec Ops: The line. The multiplayer is where the draw is for me, but
I am really getting tired of zombies.
8. Just Cause 3
Set to release in June,
the sequel to Just Cause 2 is finally coming. The biggest reason for
my excitement about this title is the grappling hook. In Just Cause 2
the grappling hook was the greatest thing ever and for Just Cause 3
they say they have vastly improved it. This is probably going to be
one of those silly games that are great fun and you will keep playing
because it is fun. I can't wait for this one.
7. Mighty No. 9
Keiji Inafune is leading
this project that looks like a Mega Man clone, and that's is not so
strange since Inafune is the designer of Mega Man. It's all there,
jumping, shooting and acquiring weapons from defeated enemies. I love
Mega Man, having grown up with an NES with Mega Man 2 and 3 the
nostalgia factor here is kinda big. They are just fun run and gun
games and I'm really exited to see what Inafune has created with his
Mighty No. 9.
6. Uncharted 4: A
Thief's End
Uncharted is one of those
game series I just can't put down. It's such an big adventure I just
have to see where it goes. I love Uncharted 1 – 3 and have great
hopes for this. The fact that Naughty Dog, the developer, have new
hardware in the Playstation 4 to play with also helps of course. Be
sure to check out the gameplay demo from the 2014 Playstation
Experience.
5.Mortal Kombat X
Mortal Kombat has been a
part of my life for a long time now, and since 2011's Mortal Kombat I
have been madly in love with it. The fighting, the flow, a great
story mode and the fantastic gore, it's all I want. Mortal Kombat X
look's as gory as ever, we get new characters, different fighting
stances and faction wars. They are really going bigger and better
with this and if you see any video of it there is no doubt about
that. I'm so excited for this I can hardly contain myself. This is
the fighter for me and I really hope it runs well on the PC.
4. Star Wars:
Battlefront
When the first Battlefront
came everyone said it was a Battlefield clone re-skinned so it looks
like Star Wars. In Battlefront 2 I knew this was something special. A
cool look at the story for Star Wars Episode 3 and forward to Hoth in
Star Wars Episode 5 seen from a storm trooper legion. Then it went
silent. Now DICE is here with their Frostbite 3 engine to do Star
Wars Battlefront. I haven't seen a lot of things from the game but I
have faith in this. We really need a good Star Wars game and since
the canceled Star Wars 1313 this is our new hope(heheheh). It will
probably play like a battlefield game but it's Star Wars and that is
good enough for me.
3. Rainbow Six: Siege
The one thing that scares
me about this is the developer/publisher. Ubisoft had a rough 2014
but it's their own fault I feel by releasing products that are not
finished and so on. I still am hyped for this game even though I have
seen very little of it. It looks kind of intense, if you die you are
dead and it looks really tactical. The destruction looks great and it
actually looks like you can shoot through walls. Hopefully it will be
a great game and Ubisoft does not release until it's done.
2. Batman: Arkham
Knight
Rocksteady Studios are
back after not doing Arkham Origins. They have said that this will be
the end of their Arkham trilogy. After what they did with Arkham City
I am really excited to see what they can do now. Everything I see of
this game looks stunning with great action. Getting to drive the
batmobile will be awesome and a continuation after the events of
Arkham City is going to be great. Hopefully the feel of the game is
still there and the feel of being Batman is still strong. I don't see
how this game can go wrong. The dark knight have never looked better.
1. Tom Clancy's The
Divison
An Ubisoft game on top of
the list may sound weird but if you have seen any footage of the game
you probably understand why it is on the top. It looks so fantastic,
I really don't know how they made this. I don't know how the
massively multiplayer aspect of the game comes into play or things
like that but I really hope this is all we are hoping for. It looks
great, it seems like they have created a fantastic world and the
Snowdrop engine looks like it is ridiculously powerful. Now Ubisoft,
do not make this 30 FPS and that would be great.
Honorable mention:
-No Man's Sky
-Homefront: The Revolution
